Fall softball is for players who are looking for a fun, developmental environment. TGS is proud to play with the OC Fall Ball association. Games are played on Sundays and families may travel to other Orange County cities for games. There are no games during the week.

Birth Years: Age divisions based on Spring 2024 age requirements.

Play-Downs or Play-Ups: Any requests for an exemption must be approved. These requests will be handled on a case-by-case basis and granted only under exceptional circumstances.

 

Registration Fees

  • Fees due at Registration:
    • 6U - $100 (NO TRYOUT NECESSARY)
    • 8U, 10U, 12U, & 14U  REC- $175 (NO TRYOUT NECESSARY)
    • 8U, 10U, 12U & 14U SELECT* - $175 AT REGISTRATION. YOU WILL BE CHARGED AN ADDITIONAL $100 AFTER MAKING THE TEAM
  • Registration Fees Include: Uniform Jersey (pants not included), One Tournament Fee, Umpire Fees, as well as all relevant Field, Insurance, and Registration Fees
  • *Select Fees: An additional $100 fee will apply for All Players on Select Teams following the selection process 
  • Nominal Fees (Snacks, Spirit Wear, Team Parties, etc.) will be in addition to registration fees and will vary on a team-by-team basis
  • All registrations received after August 1, 2023, will be based on availability
  • PAYMENT PLAN AVAILABLE: Pay half now and the remaining balance on August 11, 2023.
  • REFUNDS: If a player requests a refund before August 13th, they will be refunded their registration fee less a $25 processing fee. NO REFUNDS after August 13th.

​Rec Teams

  • Recreation teams available for all players in the 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U, & 14U age divisions. Everybody plays.
  • Teams practice once per week, play one game on Sunday and participate in One Tournament (included in the registration fee)
  • The Rec Season will conclude on November 12th
  • Friend Requests
    • 6U — Friend and Coach requests will be a primary consideration when forming teams, although we cannot guarantee that all requests will be honored
    • 8U/10U/12U/14U — Friend and Coach requests may be submitted. We will try to accommodate as many as possible, but the primary criterion in forming teams will be to distribute talent evenly and to provide each team with sufficient specialty position players (Pitcher, Catcher, 1B). We cannot guarantee that any or all of these requests will be honored. Email requests to registrar@tustingirlssoftball.com.

Select Teams

  • Select teams are advanced teams formed by invitation only in 8U, 10U, 12U, AND 14U
  • Teams practice 2X per week, play doubleheaders on Sundays and participate in Two Tournaments (one tournament fee is included in the registration fee)
  • Pumpkin Tournament: TBD
  • Turkey Tournament: TBD
  • Select Season will conclude on November 12, 2023

Players who wish to be considered for a Fall 2023 Select Team should SUBMIT INTEREST HERE and attend a tryout. Players may not attend Select Tryouts without first registering and submitting interest.

Players should attend the Select Tryout. All players who try out for a Select team and do not make a team will be required to attend the Rec Evaluation and will be drafted to a Rec team.

This season TGS will produce the following Select teams:

One 8u team, two 10u teams, two 12u teams, and one 14u team (based on interest).
