This is a fun event for the purpose of 1) distributing our Rec teams evenly and 2) evaluating players for Select teams. All players must attend. (6U players are not assessed but can attend to be fitted for their jersey.) If your player cannot attend, please contact registrar@tustingirlssoftball.com and we will make other arrangements. 

This season we are thrilled to welcome many new players. If your player is interested in being evaluated for a Select team and did not check the box during registration, please reply to this email to be placed on the list. If your player is not chosen for a Select team, she will be added to the Recreation draft. 

All players should bring their gear and a water bottle to Skills Day. Please have your player wear softball pants (or appropriate athletic pants) and cleats.

Players will have the opportunity to try on jersey samples at Skills Day. Please visit the uniform table before or after your player’s scheduled start time to make size selections. You will receive your jersey prior to the first game. Players are responsible for purchasing their own black pants.

Skills Day Schedule

Please arrive 20-30 minutes early for check in and warmups. Pitchers and catchers must attend the “all players” time and stay for “pitchers and catchers”. 

Assessment Schedule

8U

All players 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

8U pitchers and catchers 10:15 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.

10U 

All players 10:45 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.

10U pitchers and catchers 11:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.

12U 

All players 12:45 p.m. to 1:45 p.m.

12U pitchers and catchers 1:45 p.m. to 2:15 p.m.
