SPRING 2025 VOLUNTEER EXPECTATIONS - THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP!

This policy represents the minimum contribution, however, we always welcome families to exceed this request and enrich the experience of our girls with extra service and support. WE ARE BETTER BECAUSE OF YOU!

4 points per player, up to two players (8 points maximum).

Buyout amount during registration: $200 for all points ($50 per point)

Buyout amount after registration: $400 for all points ($100 per point)


All points must be completed in order for players to be able to participate in the End of Season Tournament.


WOULD YOU LIKE TO PAY A TEEN TO WORK YOUR SNACK BAR OR TRASH SHIFT?

Below are approved students who will work your 3-hour snack bar shift for $60 ($20 per hour). Please text them directly to set it up then sign up for the shift. The students will sign in for you so we know your shift was completed.

Volunteer Opportunities

2025 SPRING TUSTIN GIRLS SOFTBALL VOLUNTEER POLICY

Tustin Girls Softball is an all-volunteer organization. Accordingly, each player’s family is required to fulfill four (4) volunteer points per player, up to two players (8 points maximum). All points must be complete in order for players to be able to participate in the End of Season Tournament.

 

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Eight point opportunities:

  • Board Member 

  • Team Manager (one per team)

Four point opportunities:

  • Head Coach (First Base Coach)  (one per team)

  • Team Mom or Dugout Mom (one per team or split points)

  • Field Maintenance Committee Member

  • Snack Bar Committee Member

  • Yearbook Committee Chair

  • Easter at TGS Committee Chair

  • Secure a $500 league sponsorship from a local business

Two point opportunities:

  • Assistant Coach or Practice Coach (four for 6u, three for 8u-14u) 

  • Field Prep Parent (prepare fields for home games: two families per team) 

  • Team Scorekeeper (8U through 14U: two families per team)

  • Three-hour Snackbar Shift 

  • Four-hour Trash Shift

  • Events Committee Member

  • Yearbook Committee Member

  • Purchase a $100 Gift Card to Smart and Final and submit to snack bar by March 31st

  • Attend Field Beautification Day (three hours) (max two points per family)

  • Secure a $250 league sponsorship from a local business

 

Buyout amount during registration: $200 for all points.

Buyout amount after registration: $400 per four points ($200 per two points).
